{"id":339,"date":"2020-08-06T15:22:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-06T15:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.strongwithmitzi.net\/blog\/?p=339"},"modified":"2021-07-06T18:03:34","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T18:03:34","slug":"stuffed-mushrooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.strongwithmitzi.net\/blog\/stuffed-mushrooms\/","title":{"rendered":"Stuffed Mushrooms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>My first time to make Stuffed Mushrooms and they were to die for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preheat oven to 325<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15 \u2013 20 large button mushrooms (remove center portion)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1# sausage (browned) (Whole Foods Italian Sausage is the best)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 onion and \u00bd bell pepper (chopped) (saute in ghee or olive oil)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 garlic cloves<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\/3 cup almond flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 TBLS fresh parsley \u2013 1 TBLS dried basil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 TBLS olive oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salt \/ Pepper to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toss mushrooms in olive oil. Set aside. Mix veggies in with sausage skillet and stir. Stir in almond flour until it looks like stuffing. Add garlic cloves, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stuff mushroom caps with mixture. Cook for 40 minutes until brown and crusty.
